What is plaster boarding?

 

Plaster boarding. Sometimes referred to as dry lining (however this only actually refers to a particular type of plaster boarding) is when you use plasterboard as the backing plaster for a wall. This can be fixed to walls and ceilings via a few different methods. Ceilings can sometimes be over boarded, You can screw plasterboard to stud walls and lowered ceilings and you can also stick plasterboard to brick/block walls using plasterboard adhesive (Often referred to as the dot and dab method)
